1219080-61-1 - Introduction
1H-Imidazol-2-ylboronic acid is an organic compound with the following properties:
1. Chemical properties: 1H-imidazol-2-yl boronic acid is a white crystalline solid with good solubility. It is a weak acid that produces stable salts. It has high solubility in water and can be dissolved in a variety of organic solvents.
2. use: it is widely used in organic synthesis. As an organic base catalyst, it can be used to catalyze the reaction of alcohols, acids and ketones to promote the activity and selectivity of the catalyst. In addition, 1H-imidazol-2-ylboronic acid can also be used in the synthesis of organic electrolytes, photoelectric materials and fluorescent dyes.
3. Preparation method: The preparation of 1H-imidazol-2-ylboronic acid can be completed by three-step reaction. First, imidazole is reacted with trimethylchloroborane to yield 1H-imidazol-2-yltrimethoxyboronic acid. This is then reacted with sulfuric acid to give 1H-imidazol-2-yl-2-sulfate. Finally, 1H-imidazol-2-ylboronic acid was prepared by reaction with ammonium chloride.
4. Safety information: 1H-imidazol-2-ylboronic acid is relatively safe under normal operating conditions, but the following matters still need to be paid attention to: avoid prolonged contact with skin and eyes; wear appropriate protective gloves and glasses when using; avoid inhalation or swallowing. If contact or ingestion occurs, wash the affected area promptly and consult a doctor.
