Direct method
Calcium gluconate and ferrous sulfate are reacted at 90 ℃ for 10h in the presence of a small amount of iron powder to obtain the product with a yield of 97.8%. The process is simple, but the residual amount of calcium sulfate is too high and difficult to remove.

Acid method
1.2 mo1/L calcium gluconate was added into the same amount of sulfuric acid solution under stirring and reacted at 90 ℃ for 1h. After filtering to remove the precipitated calcium sulfate precipitate, it passed through the column at a flow rate equivalent to the volume of resin per minute to obtain about 35% gluconic acid solution with 97% yield.
Add ferrous sulfate powder to sodium carbonate solution, stir to dissolve and react to generate ferrous carbonate precipitate:
FeSO4+Na2CO3→Na2SO4+FeCO3↓
After the reaction, ferrous carbonate is filtered and washed (do not drain, the surface retains a water layer to isolate the air), and the yield is 98%.
Then ferrous carbonate was added into gluconic acid solution and stirred for 30min, and the CO2 generated by the reaction was used as an inert gas to protect. The product ferrous gluconate solution is put into the crystallization tank, and the seed crystal is added, and the crystallization is completed in about 3~5h. Finally, it is filtered and washed with ethanol, and dried under vacuum at 50 ℃ to obtain the finished product with a 98% yield.
