- Diethoxy-Di(Piperidin-1-Yl)Silane can also be used as a surface treatment agent to improve the wetting properties and interfacial adhesion of materials.
-It can be used as a catalyst in some metal-organic interfacial reactions.
Preparation Method:
- Diethoxy-Di(Piperidin-1-Yl)Silane can be prepared by reacting dipiperidine with chlorosilane, and then reacting with ethanol.
-Reaction formula: 2C5H10N SiCl4 → Si(C5H9N)2 4 HCl;Si(C5H9N)2 2 C2H5OH → Si(C5H9N)2(OCH2CH3)2 2 C2H5OH
