Natural resources
Rhenium itself has no independent deposits, and is often dispersed in other non-ferrous metal ore bodies. It mainly coexists with molybdenum, and is mostly associated with molybdenum, copper, lead, zinc, platinum, niobium and other minerals in trace amounts.
Preparation
a preparation method of rhenium trichloride: rhenium powder is evenly filled in an atmosphere furnace with a thickness of 2cm, the furnace temperature is first raised to 100 ℃, after 2 hours, chlorine gas is introduced to control the gas flow rate of 1 m3/h, then, the temperature is slowly raised to 300 ℃ at a heating rate of 20 ℃/min, the reaction is 10h, and the temperature is naturally cooled. when the temperature is reduced to 200 ℃, chlorine gas is stopped, instead, nitrogen is introduced, the gas flow rate of nitrogen is controlled to be 3 m3/h, the reaction is 3h, and it is naturally cooled to room temperature to obtain dark red crystals. After X-ray diffraction detection and analysis, the product is rhenium trichloride, and the yield is 85%.
