use | this product is the main component of JN-bactericidal algaecide. Good compatibility with nonionic, zwitterionic and other cationic active substances. Good thermal stability. Used for sterilization and algae killing in water circulation systems of petroleum, chemical, textile, machinery, metallurgy and electric power enterprises Ion association reagent for extraction photometric analysis and sensitizer for metal photometric determination. It can be dissolved in water and ethanol in any proportion, and can be used at the same time as cationic, non-ionic surfactants or dyes. It should not be used with anionic surfactants or additives. It is stable to weak acid and alkali and should not be heated for a long time above 100°C. |
Production method | It is obtained by quaternizing dimethyltetramine with benzyl chloride under alkali catalysis. See Dimethyldodecylbenzonium Chloride for details. |
