[name of veterinary drug]
Common name: Tilestamine Hydrochloride for Injection Zolazepam Hydrochloride
[main ingredients] tiletamine hydrochloride, zolazepam hydrochloride
[properties] this product is white to light yellow crystalline frozen powder.
[pharmacological action] pharmacodynamics this product is a compound anesthetic. The mechanism of action of teletamide hydrochloride and zolazepam hydrochloride can complement each other. Tiletamine is a separate anesthetic, its pharmacological effects are similar to ketamine; Zolazepam is a benzodiazepine? Class sedative hypnotics, pharmacological effects are similar to diazepam, with anti-anxiety, sedation, anticonvulsant and muscle relaxation effects. Zolazepam can strengthen the inhibitory effect of teeltamine on the central nervous system, while preventing convulsions caused by teeltamine, enhancing muscle relaxation effects, and shortening the recovery time from anesthesia. This product can quickly relax muscles, causing superficial pain and visceral pain to disappear, and does not cause respiratory central depression. It has sedative, analgesic and anesthetic effects.
after intramuscular injection of 10mg/kg body weight in dogs and cats, the blood drug concentration of leitamin and zolaixiyang reached a peak within 30 minutes. The duration of anesthesia was 20 to 60 minutes. The half-life of timutamine: 75 minutes for dogs and 150 minutes for cats; the half-life of Zolafan: 60 minutes, 270 minutes for cats.
Drug interactions
1. Combination with phenothiazines (acepromazine, chlorpromazine) can increase the risk of cardiac depression, respiratory depression and hypothermia.
2. Chloramphenicol will reduce the metabolic rate of anesthetics.
[indication] is used for Baoding and general anesthesia in dogs and cats.
