Application | pyridazine N-oxide can be used in organic synthesis reactions, as pharmaceutical intermediates and organic synthesis intermediates, used in laboratory research and development process and chemical and pharmaceutical synthesis process. |
preparation | pyridazine N-oxide was prepared as follows: the appropriate Diazine (1 equivalent) and mCPBA(1 equivalent) dissolved in DCM(0.2M). The reaction was stirred for 16 hours. PPh3(0.5 eq) was then added to reduce any unreacted peracid and the mixture was stirred for an additional 4 hours. The volatiles were evaporated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to give pyridazine N-oxide. |
Use | coupling partner in Palladium-Catalyzed Direct arylation reactions. |
