2-(4-OCTYLPHENYL)ETHANOL can be obtained by the reaction of phenyl ethyl ketone with N-octyl bromide. The specific steps are as follows:

2. Add appropriate amount of solvent and stir to mix.
3. Heat the reaction system to an appropriate temperature, usually the reaction temperature is 80-100°C.
4. After completion of the reaction, the product was purified by distillation and crystallization.
