application | 2-acetylcyclopentanone is a pharmaceutical intermediate and organic synthesis intermediate, which can be used in laboratory research and development process and chemical pharmaceutical synthesis process. 2-Acetylcyclopentanone is a pharmaceutical intermediate, which can be prepared from 1-(trimethylsiloxy) cyclopentene in one step. It has been reported that 2-acetylcyclopentanone can be used to prepare antiepileptic drugs and EZH2 inhibitors. |
Preparation | General step: obtain a potassium solution by contacting the potassium mirror with a THF(02 mol / L) solution of 18-crown-6 at -20°C. Drop an appropriate amount of ketone (THF solution, 1mol / L) to the resulting blue potassium solution ([K-] = 022mol / L) until discoloration. The obtained naphthylenate and alkyd esters were subsequently alkylated or acylated. For this purpose, methyl iodide or acetyl chloride is added to the enolate under argon. The reaction was carried out at room temperature for 60 minutes. The potassium halide formed is separated by filtration. The reaction products were then separated and analyzed using conventional preparation methods. The purity of all compounds obtained was> amp; gt; 96%(GC) and appropriate spectral and analytical data were provided. 2-Acetylcyclopentanone, yield 32%. |
