Method:
This compound can be synthesized by the following steps:
1.2-nitroindole is reacted with formaldehyde under alkaline conditions to obtain (6-methoxy -7-nitroindol-2-yl) methanol.
2. (6-methoxy-7-nitroindol-2-yl) methanol was treated under denitration conditions to obtain the target product (5-methoxy-1h-pyridrolo [3,2-b]pyridin-2-yl)methanol.
