put the raw materials 3-mercapto-1-propanol (0.92g,1mmol) and sodium iodide (1.5mg,0.01mmol) into a three-mouth flask, add 3mL of ethyl acetate as solvent, and slowly add 30% hydrogen peroxide (0.11mL,1mmol) dropwise under magnetic stirring. After dropping, continue stirring at 30 ℃ for half an hour. After stirring, 15mL of saturated sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution was added and extracted with 15mL of ethyl acetate. Then the extract was washed with 15mL of saturated salt water, then dried with anhydrous sodium sulfur, and finally, the solvent was removed by spin evaporation to obtain the product 2-hydroxyethyl disulfide with a yield of 98%.
