Use | 2, 6-dichloro-4-nitrophenol is an organic synthesis intermediate, which is used in the synthesis of fluorolluron on pesticides Intermediate 2, 6-dichloro-4-aminophenol. Used as an intermediate in organic synthesis |
Production method | The preparation method is to chlorinate p-nitrophenol with potassium chlorate and hydrochloric acid to obtain 2, 6-dichloro-4-nitrophenol. Dissolve p-nitrophenol in ethanol, then pour it into concentrated hydrochloric acid, cool to below 5 ℃, and add potassium chlorate aqueous solution under constant stirring, control the temperature below 10 ℃, filter out and wash into crude products. Recrystallize once with ethanol, then heat and dissolve with a mixed solvent of chloroform and ethanol, decolorize and filter, add petroleum ether to the filtrate, and cool to precipitate and crystallize to obtain the finished product. p-nitrophenol is dissolved in ethanol, and then potassium chlorate aqueous solution is continuously added in hydrochloric acid solution. After crystallization and precipitation, the crude product is obtained by filtration and washing with water, recrystallized with chloroform or ethanol, and then extracted with petroleum ether, cooled and crystallized to obtain fine products. |
