Use:
FMOC-DL-Phenylalanine is commonly used in solid-phase synthesis, peptide chemistry, and protein research. It is a commonly used amino acid protecting agent that can protect the amine group without affecting the reaction of other functional groups. When the peptide chain is synthesized, it can be used as a protective agent for the amino acid unit, protecting the amine group, and removing it when necessary, so that it can participate in the extension reaction of the peptide chain. It can also be used as an important intermediate in pharmaceutical research and synthetic chemistry.

Preparation Method:
A common preparation method is to react DL-phenylalanine with FMOC-OSu (9-fluorothiocarbyl chloride) under base catalysis to generate FMOC-DL-phenylalanine.
