uses | organic synthesis intermediates are used to produce antioxidant 2246, antioxidant 2246-S and ultraviolet absorber UV-326. mainly used in the manufacture of antioxidant 2246 series, ultraviolet absorbent UV-326, etc. mainly used in the manufacture of antioxidant 2246 series and ultraviolet absorbent UV-326 organic synthesis. Intermediates in organic synthesis. |
Production method | It is obtained by the action of p-cresol and isobutylene under the catalysis of 732# strongly acidic ion exchange resin. The above reaction is carried out at about 60°C. After the reaction is over, the catalyst is filtered out. The filtrate is added to the methanol caustic soda solution to precipitate the reaction by-product 2, 6-di-tert-butylp-cresol, filtered, and recrystallized by ethanol to obtain 264 antioxidants as by-products. The filtered filtrate is neutralized with sulfuric acid, distilled, washed with water, distilled under reduced pressure, crystallized, and filtered to obtain the finished product. |
