use | organic synthesis intermediate. |
production method | p-toluidine and glacial acetic acid are heated and refluxed for 2h to convert into N-acetyl-p-toluidine, cooled to 45 ℃, bromine is added dropwise, and the bromination reaction is controlled at 50-55 ℃. Inject the reactants into the sodium sulfite aqueous solution to precipitate 3-bromo-4-acetaminomoluene. Then hydrolyze with concentrated hydrochloric acid, and the obtained hydrochloride reacts with sodium hydroxide solution to obtain free 2-bromo-4-methylaniline. Yield 51-57%. |
