Production method | Dissolve thiophene in acetic anhydride and fuming nitric acid in glacial acetic acid. The two solutions were mixed at about 10 ℃, and the nitrate was poured into the crushed ice to precipitate 2-nitrothiophene. The yield is about 80%. |
