preparation | add 30 mL dichloromethane into a dry round bottom flask filled with anhydrous aluminum trichloride (2. 6g,20 mmol) and resorcinol (1. 1g,10 mmol), seal the bottle mouth with a rubber stopper equipped with a nitrogen balloon, add phosphorus oxychloride (0. 72 ml,10 mmol) under the ice bath through a needle tube with a rubber stopper, and control the addition time to be about 90 minutes. Ice bath reaction, after stirring for 5 h, TLC spot plate tracking, the developing agent (dichloromethane: methanol = 97: 3/volume ratio) was observed under the ultraviolet lamp 254nm . Stop the reaction, spin the solution to dry, add 2N hydrochloric acid 15 mL under ice bath, then add ethyl acetate 200mL for extraction, dry the organic layer with anhydrous magnesium sulfate after separation, filter, spin dry to obtain light yellow solid, column chromatography, eluent (dichloromethane: methanol = 97: 1. 5), collect, spin dry to obtain 2-chlorine -1,3-hydroquinone. |
