216584-22-4 - Introduction
1,2,3-Tris(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine(1,2,3-Tris(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine) is an organic compound. Its chemical formula is C15H27N3O6 and its relative molecular mass is 345.4.
Nature:
1,2,3-Tris(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine is a solid, usually white crystalline or powdery. It is stable at room temperature.
Use:
1,2,3-Tris(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine is often used in organic synthesis as a protecting group or intermediate. It can protect active hydrogen atoms and amine groups from unwanted side reactions in chemical reactions. In addition, it is also commonly used in the preparation of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds.
Preparation Method:
1,2,3-Tris(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. The tert-butyl carbonate chloride (tert-butyloxycarbonyl chloride) is reacted with cyanoamine to generate N-(tert-butoxycarbonyl) amino amine (tert-butyloxycarbonyl-aminoguanidine).
2. Rereaction of N-(tert-butoxycarbonyl) aminoamine with cyanoamine under alkaline conditions produces N,N'-bis (tert-butoxycarbonyl) aminoguanidine (di-tert-butyloxycarbonylguanidine).
3. Finally, using certain reaction conditions, N,N'-bis (tert-butoxycarbonyl) aminoguanidine is reacted again with tert-butyl carbonic acid chloride to obtain the final product 1,2,3-Tris(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine.
Safety Information:
1,2,3-Tris(tert-butoxycarbonyl)guanidine is generally considered to have low toxicity, but still need to pay attention to safe operation. It may cause irritation and damage to the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Wear appropriate protective equipment such as gloves and goggles during use. Avoid inhaling dust and ensure that you operate in a well-ventilated environment. When stored, keep away from ignition and oxidizing agents.
