In vitro study | TAK-242 inhibits the TLR4 signaling pathway by directly binding to the Cys747 residue in the intracellular domain of TLR4. TAK-242 can disrupt the interaction of TLR4 with its adaptor molecules TIRAP and TRAM. |
In vivo study | In mice, a dose of 3 mg/kg TAK242 was effective against acute cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. In mouse epithelial tissue, UV-induced AP-1 activation was blocked by topical administration. In a UV-induced skin cancer model, local application of resatorvid can effectively exert its anti-photochemical effect, significantly inhibit the tumor area and its diversity. In the tumor tissues isolated from the administered mice, the activity of the UV-related signaling pathway was decreased, while the activity of the apoptotic signaling pathway was increased (relative to the control group). In mice, TAK-242 significantly reduced neuronal damage after cerebral ischemia. |
