It is an intermediate of pyrimidophane and the insecticide pyrimidine. It is used in medicine to produce the anti-tumor drug fluorouracil. Used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. The pharmaceutical industry is used to produce fluorouracil (antineoplastic drug). |
production method | is obtained by the reaction of urea and dimethyl sulfate. Put dimethyl sulfate into a dry reaction pot, stir and heat to 40 ℃, then put into dry urea, the temperature naturally rises to about 60 ℃, and the heat preservation reaction lasts for 3 hours to obtain the finished product. (1) dimethyl sulfate method (2) cyanamide method is generally used in the industry. 250kg of dimethyl sulfate is put into a 500L reaction kettle, stirred and heated to 80 ℃, then 120kg of urea is added in batches and a small amount. The reaction is exothermic, and the feeding speed is carefully controlled so that the reaction temperature does not exceed 100 ℃. After adding, the reaction temperature is kept at 90 ℃ for 1 hour, cooled to 50-60 ℃, and the material is discharging to obtain about 370kg of colorless viscous liquid, namely O-methyl isourea hydrogen sulfate. |
