biological activity | Tectol, isolated from Lippia sidoides, has a significant inhibitory effect on human leukemia cell lines HL60 and CEM. Tectol is a farnesyl transfer ASE (FTase) inhibitor with IC50 of 2.09 and 1.73 μm in human and Trypanosoma brucei, respectively. Tectol inhibits drug-resistant Plasmodium falciparum (FcB1) with an IC50 of 3.44 μm. |
