Abstract:
we first designed and synthesized a trifunctional acrylate monomer (2-chloropropionyloxy) Hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HECPMA) containing SET-LRP initiating group and hydrophilic functional group (-OH), the monomer was homopolymerized by RAFT polymerization technology, and a series of macroinitiators containing SET-LRP initiating groups were obtained after removing the end groups of the dithioester. Subsequently, we initiated the SET-LRP grafting process of N-isopropylacrylamide with PHECPMA homopolymer as the macroinitiator, and prepared the poly (2-hydroxyethyl acrylate) backbone and the poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) side chain. A fully hydrophilic high density graft polymer of poly (Hydroxyethyl acrylate)-g-poly (N-isopropylacrylamide)(PHEA-g-PNIPAM). Due to the presence of PNIPAM side chains, the graft copolymer has temperature-responsive properties, which are confirmed by UV-Vis spectroscopy, variable temperature nuclear magnetic resonance and dynamic light scattering.

Abstract:
The use of Poly (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) [Poly(HEMA)] gels in polymeric implants for controlled drug release has been extensively studied. The gel is generally prepared by free radical polymerization of the monomer starting material 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) in the presence of water. There are several methods for the polymerization of free radicals:(1) chemical catalysis;(2) ultraviolet irradiation in the presence of photosensitive chemicals;(3) ion irradiation. The first two disadvantages are that the chemicals must be removed from the gel, otherwise the biocompatibility problem with biological tissue will occur; Another disadvantage is that, chemicals may interact with polymeric bonds to affect the network structure of the gel and change the swelling properties of the gel. In this paper, the swelling properties of polymers prepared by X-ray irradiation and chemical methods are compared. Gel preparation: monomer HEMA and crosslinking agent ethylene glycol diacrylic acid methyl ester (EGDMA)0.125 ~ 0.875% in the presence of 20 ~ 45% of water copolymerization, then 5 minutes

Abstract:
oral toxicity LD_(50)250 ~ 1000mg/kg, skin toxicity LD_(50)63 ~ 500mg/kg. This product is toxic, harmful to the human body, attached to the skin can cause burn symptoms, its liquid toxicity is stronger, its vapor contact with the eyes will cause eye inflammation, so must wear protective equipment. In addition, this product is designated as a hazardous substance (classified by combustible substances, belonging to the third petroleum class), and special attention should be paid to safety when handling.
