Gefitinib selectively inhibits EGF-stimulated tumor cell growth (IC50 54 nM) and blocks EGFR autophosphorylation in EGF-stimulated tumor cells. Gefitinib can also induce autophagy in cells. Gefitinib has anti-tumor activity. |
