Enfumafungin is an antifungal compound that acts as an inhibitor of (1,3)-beta-D-glucan synthase on fungal cell walls. Enfumafungin is specific for yeasts and fungi (except for Cryptococcus) and does not inhibit the growth of Bacillus subtilis. |
