28466-21-9 - Introduction
4-Amino-1,3,5-trimethylpyrazole(4-Amino-1,3,5-trimethylpyrazole) is an organic compound. Its chemical formula is C6H10N4 and its relative molecular mass is 138.17.
The compound is a colorless crystalline powder, soluble in water and organic solvents such as alcohols, ethers, etc. It is stable at room temperature, but decomposes at high temperatures.
4-Amino-1,3,5-trimethylpyrazole has a wide range of applications in organic synthesis. It can be used as a pharmaceutical Intermediate, a synthetic raw material for dyes and pigments, and a metal corrosion inhibitor.
The preparation of 4-Amino-1,3,5-trimethylpyrazole can be achieved by the reaction of pyrazole and methylacetone. First, the pyrazole and methylacetone are charged into a reaction vessel and heated to the reaction temperature. After the reaction is carried out, the product can be purified by crystallization treatment.
In terms of safety, 4-Amino-1,3,5-trimethylpyrazole is generally considered to be a relatively safe compound. However, it is a potential eye irritant, so it is necessary to wear appropriate personal protective equipment during use and avoid contact with the eyes.
