Abstract:
The synthesis of dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate from dipentaerythritol and acrylic acid was studied. The Effects of catalyst, type and amount of polymerization inhibitor, amount of solvent and molar ratio of acid to alcohol were investigated, the optimum reaction conditions were obtained as follows: P-toluenesulfonic acid 4.0g, polymerization inhibitor YD 1.6g, toluene 70ml, molar ratio of acid to alcohol 7.2:1, reaction time 4H. The yield of dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate was 71.4%.Key words:
