Use | The application of jasmonic acid and its methyl ester has a light and elegant fragrance, so it can be used as the main aroma component of many essential oils and is widely used in the production of perfume industry. In agricultural production, jasmonic acid can significantly promote the flowering of sterile plants, but also can be used to improve the drought resistance of plants, while jasmonic acid can induce plants to produce toxic substances, in order to achieve the effect of pest resistance, pest protein inhibitors and the like can replace some pesticides in agricultural production. |

Summary:
jasmonic acid and its derivatives methyl jasmonate are collectively referred to as jasmonate, which is a growth regulator widely found in plants and plays a very important role in plant cells. This paper introduces the cloning, expression and regulation of key enzyme genes in the process of jasmonic acid biosynthesis, and analyzes some mutants of jasmonic acid, the results show that jasmonic acid plays a very important role in development and defense, especially in male sterility and resistance to diseases and insect pests. At the same time, the latest achievements of jasmonic acid signal transduction are reviewed.

Summary:
the relationship between methyl jasmonate (methyljasmonate,Me Ja)-induced anthracnose resistance in tobacco seedlings and phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) activity, lignin and hydroxyproline-rich protein (HRGP) content was discussed. Me Ja treatment of tobacco seedlings can not only improve the ability of seedlings to resist anthracnose, but also obviously improve the PAL activity, lignin and HRGP content of seedlings. The negative correlation between PAL enzyme activity, lignin and HRGP content and susceptibility degree of tobacco seedlings of 3 different resistant varieties reached significant level, indicating that PAL, lignin and hydroxyproline-rich protein (HRGP) play a key role in the induction of disease resistance by methyl jasmonate.

Summary:
the molecular structures of jasmonic acid (JA) and methyl jasmonate (MJA) and their induced insect resistance and their mechanisms are reviewed. After plants are stimulated by exogenous jasmonic acid or methyl jasmonate, one response pathway is to activate defense genes by stearic acid pathway, and the other pathway is to directly activate defense genes. The activation of defense genes leads to the reconfiguration of metabolic pathways, and may induce plants to produce the following four effects:(1) Direct defense, that is, plants produce substances that are toxic to pests, anti-nutritional and anti-digestive enzymes, or repellent And compounds that hinder behavior;(2) indirect defense, that is, produce volatiles that attract natural enemies;(3) non-defense, that is, no defense response;(4) Negative defense, that is, produce volatiles that attract pests.
