application | 3-trifluoromethylpyridine is a pyridine compound, mainly used in the laboratory research and development process and the pharmaceutical research and development process. |
preparation | copper iodide (I)(13.3 mg,0.07 mmol), 1,10-phenanthroline (12.6 mg,0.07 mmol),KF(61 mg,1.05 mmol 3 eq.) and aryl iodide (0.35 mmol,1 eq) were used. The reaction vessel is closed, then emptied and refilled three times with argon or nitrogen. DMSO(1.0 mL) and aryl iodide (0.35 mmol)(if it is not solid), B(OMe)3(109 mg,117 μL,1.05 mmol,3 eq), TMSCF3(149.3 mg,155 μL,1.05 mmov,3 eq.) were added by syringe. The solid aryl iodide is weighed directly in the reaction vessel. The resulting orange-yellow suspension was stirred at 60°C for 24 hours. Dissolve the sample in Et2O and analyze it by GC-MS to obtain 3-trifluoromethylpyridine. The yield: 100% |
