3-Hydroxybakuchiol - Introduction
3-Hydroxybakuchiol (3-Hydroxybakuchiol) is a natural organic compound belonging to the saponins group. It is structurally similar to Baku alcohol, but contains a hydroxyl group on the carbon backbone of Baku alcohol.
3-Hydroxybakuchiol is a colorless to light yellow crystalline solid. It has good solubility and is easily soluble in ethanol, hydrochloric acid and ether.
3-Hydroxybakuchiol has a variety of biological activities, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It can be used as a pharmaceutical and cosmetic additive for treating skin inflammation, anti-aging and improving the elasticity and firmness of the skin.
