3-N-HEXYLOXYANILINE - Introduction
3-Hexyloxy-phenylamine (3-hexoxyaniline) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C12H19NO. It is a solid substance with a relatively large molecular weight and has a mild aminophenol odor.
3-Hexyloxy-phenol is an important raw material for organic synthesis and has many applications in the chemical field. It can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of dyes, fluorescent dyes and photosensitive materials. In addition, it can also be used to prepare polymer materials, drugs and pesticides.
A method for synthesizing 3-Hexyloxy-phenylamine is to use the reactants 3-Hexylphenol and chloroformic acid to undergo an esterification reaction under acidic conditions to generate a corresponding esterification product. Then, the target compound 3-Hexyloxy-phenylamine was obtained by hydrolyzing the esterified product.
3-Hexyloxy-phenol has limited safety information. It should be handled in a well-ventilated area and avoid inhalation, swallowing or contact with skin. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. In addition, use should wear appropriate protective equipment, such as protective glasses, gloves and protective clothing. When stored, it should be kept in a dry, cool place, and away from fire and oxidizing agents. Observe all relevant safety practices during use and handling. If necessary, refer to the chemical's safety data sheet for more detailed safety information.
