Preparation Method:
3-Bromo-5-chlorobenzzo [B] thiophene can be prepared by a three-step reaction:
1. First, spiro thiophene ring on benzene ring to obtain 2-bromo-4-chlorophenylthiophene
2. Then, introduce another bromine atom on 2-bromo-4-chlorophenylthiophene to obtain 3,4-dibromo-2-chlorophenylthiophene
3. Finally, a reduction reaction (using ferrous powder) occurred on 3,4-dibromo-2-chlorophenylthiophene to obtain the final 3-Bromo-5-chlorobenzo [B] thiophene.
