31017-40-0 - Introduction
1-PHENYL-1-CYCLOHEXENE is an organic compound with the molecular formula C12H10 and the structural formula C6H5CH = CHCH = CH2. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a strong aromatic odor.
1-PHENYL-1-CYCLOHEXENE is a relatively stable compound, which is relatively stable at room temperature, but self-polymerization reaction occurs under the conditions of light, heating, and the presence of catalyst. Its properties are similar to those of benzene and cyclohexene, with aromaticity and unsaturation. It is an important reaction intermediate and has a wide range of applications in organic synthesis.
1-PHENYL-1-CYCLOHEXENE is widely used in organic synthesis to construct carbon-carbon bonds of organic molecules, and participates in a variety of organic synthesis reactions, such as olefin addition, cyclization reaction, oxidation reaction, etc. It can be used to synthesize natural products, drugs, dyes, fragrances and polymers.
1-PHENYL-1-CYCLOHEXENE is mainly prepared in the following ways: 1. By deacidification reaction, benzoic acid is reacted with cyclohexene to obtain; 2. Demethylation reaction by aromatic compounds; 3. Compression reaction by tail carbon skeleton.
Safety precautions are required when using 1-PHENYL-1-CYCLOHEXENE. It is volatile, flammable and should be operated in a well-ventilated place. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and keep away from sources of fire. When handling or storing 1-PHENYL-1-CYCLOHEXENE, appropriate precautions should be taken to avoid inhalation of its vapors or contact with its liquids. If the substance is exposed to the outside, it should be washed with plenty of water in time and treated by medical treatment.
