Preparation | 4,7,13,16,21-penaoxa-1, 10-diazabicyclo [8.8.5] Dicane Preparation: In an argon flask with a Friedrichs condenser, 225g of commercially available trioxane (225g) was mixed with 10g of KOH and 10g of polyethylene glycol (molecular weight = 600). The mixture was refluxed under stirring for 4 hours, and 197.0g was distilled into a dry, argon-washed resin kettle. The distilled trioxane was melted at 70°C and mixed with 6.6ml(2.98wt%) of ethylene oxide. The reaction was initiated with 0.03113MBF3.OEt2 in 3.5ml of dichloromethane solution, and after 54 minutes, it has polymerized into solid 4,7,13,16,21-pentax-1, 10-diazabicyclo [8.8.5] tricane. |
