2.3-pyridinecarboxylic acid thiol reacts with 3-chloro -4-methyl benzoyl chloride to generate 3-pyridinecarboxyl thiol ester.
3. Finally, 3-pyridinyl mercaptan ester and 2-aminopyrimidine are reacted under the action of hydrogen to generate 4-(3-Thienyl)-2-pyrimidinamine.
