Method:
[4-(Dimethylamino)-3-methylphenyl]boronic acid can be prepared by the following steps:
1.4-amino -3-toluene boronic acid and methyl iodide are reacted to obtain 4-(methylamino)-3-toluene boronic acid.
2. An amine methylation reaction is carried out at the position of the methylamino group, using dimethylaminocopper bromide or methyl iodide.
3. Purification by crystallization or column chromatography gives [4-(Dimethylamino)-3-methylphenyl]boronic acid.
