In vivo study | 4-Chloro-DL-phenylalanine(PCPA) significantly reduced pulmonary vascular remodeling and pulmonary inflammation induced by MCT (monocrotaline), inhibited Tph-1 and SERT, MMP-2/-9, TIMP-1/-2, IL-1β, TNF-α, expression of ICAM-1. PCPA inhibits 5-HT by inhibiting Tph-1 and regulating SERT and serotonin downstream signaling pathways. |
