The preparation method of 5-Heptenoic acid,7-(over)-,methyl ester,[R-(Z)]-can be carried out by the following steps:
1. firstly, the reactant 7-hydroxy -3-oxo-cyclopentene -1-one is reacted with butyl lithium solution catalyzed by sodium acetate to generate acetyl cyclopentenone.
2. Then, acetylcyclopentenone and hexene-1-enol are reacted to obtain the product [R-(Z)]-7-(3-hydroxy-5-oxo-1-cyclopenten-1-yl)-5-heptenone.
3. finally,[R-(Z)]-7-(3-hydroxy-5-oxo-1-cyclopenten-1-yl)-5-heptenone is reacted with methanol to generate 5-Heptenoic acid,7-(phenyl)-,methyl ester,[R-(Z)]-.
