Use:
5-Heptenoicacid,7-[(1R,2R,3R,5S)-3,5-dihydroxy-2-[(3R)-3-hydroxy-5-phenylpentyl]cyclopentyl]-,1-methylethyl ester, (5E)-is a synthetic prostaglandin E1 analog with the ability to lower blood pressure, constrict blood vessels and improve blood circulation. It can be used to treat hypertension, angina and other diseases of the cardiovascular system.
Method:
5-Heptenoicacid,7-[(1R,2R,3R,5S)-3,5-dihydroxy-2-[(3R)-3-hydroxy-5-phenylpentyl]cyclopentyl]-,1-methylethyl ester, (5E)-can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. First, it is synthesized from decanoic acid and converted into 7-bromoheptanoic acid through reaction.
2. Grignard reaction with 1,3-cyclopentadiene generates 7-heterocyclic butanol.
3. 7-Heterocyclobutanol is converted to 7-bromopentanol by allylation reaction.
4. Subsequently, cyclopentadienoic acid methyl ester is produced by reaction with methyl cyclopenta-1, 3-diene-1-carboxylate.
5. Finally, 5-Heptenoic acid,7-[(1R,2R,3R,5S)-3,5-dihydroxy-2-[(3R)-3-hydroxy-5-phenylpentyl]cyclopentyl]-, 1-methylyl ester, (5E)-is generated by reduction of carboxymethyl ester-.
