5-(Chlorosulphonyl)-1H-indazole - Introduction
It is an organic compound with the chemical formula C7H4ClNO2S. Its appearance is a white solid with a pungent odor.
It is often used in organic synthesis reactions as a nucleation reagent or starting material. It can be used as an intermediate for the synthesis of drugs, dyes, pesticides and other organic compounds. The sulfonyl chloride functional group has good reactivity and can react with nucleophiles such as amines or alcohols to form the corresponding sulfonates or sulfonylureas.
The method of preparing calcium is usually achieved by chlorination of 1H-indazole-5-sulfonic acid. First, 1H-indazole-5-sulfonic acid was dissolved in absolute ethanol, and then an excess of anhydrous hydrochloric acid was added. Thionyl chloride is slowly added dropwise at a low temperature, and after the end of the reaction, the product can be obtained by filtration and washing.
When operating, pay attention to irritation and corrosiveness. Wear chemical protective gloves, goggles and protective clothing. Avoid inhaling, swallowing or touching skin. Care should be taken to prevent the generation of burning gases or vapors during use. In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. In addition, storage should be sealed and kept away from fire and oxidizing agents.
