Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical quality The pure product is white crystal, hygroscopic, m.p.165 ~ 166 ℃ (decomposition), soluble in water, hot methanol, hot ethanol, insoluble in chloroform, ether, etc. It is acidic and reacts with alkali to generate chloride free amine. The industrial product (crude product) of chloride hydrochloride is aqueous solution with a content of 55% ~ 65% and a pH = 2~3. |
Use | Use N, n-dimethyl-2, 3-dichloropropylamine hydrochloride chloride for short, is an intermediate of insecticidal bis, insecticidal monopterin, acarbose and sulfenesulide. |
The preparation method is prepared by acidification and chlorination of N,N-dimethylallylamine.
Drop a certain amount of hydrochloric acid into N,N-dimethylallylamine, acidify it to pH = 2~3 below 10 ℃, then send the feed liquid to the refining pot for reduced pressure dehydration, remove the water according to the process requirements, add a certain amount of solvent, enter the chlorination pot after stirring evenly, pass chlorine gas for chlorination, control the chlorination temperature of 50~60 ℃, and reach the chlorination end point, heat up and remove free chlorine, then cool down, add water and stir well, then stand and delaminate, and the upper layer is the required chloride hydrochloride.
