Method:
1,4-diaminoanthrene-9, 10-diol is usually synthesized in the following steps:
1. Anthracene first reacts with caustic soda to generate sodium anthracene.
2. Sodium anthracene reacts with 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene to generate 1,4-dinitroanthracene.
3. 1,4-dinitroanthracene was obtained by reduction reaction of 1,4-diaminoanthracene-9,10-diol.
