Preparation Method:

1.2,4-dinitrophenol and acetone anhydride were reacted under the catalysis of hydrochloric acid to obtain 2,4-dinitro -5-acetic acid phenol.
2.2,4-dinitro -5-acetic acid phenol and sodium nitrite are reacted under alkaline conditions to generate 2,4-dinitro -5-naphthylhydrazone.
3. 2,4-dinitro -5-naphthylhydrazone is reduced to 2,4-diamino -5-aminophenol.
4. Finally, 4-[2-(2,4-diaminophenyl)diazenyl]-Phenol was synthesized by aromatic substitution reaction.
