overview | 2,4-dichloroaniline is an important drug and dye intermediate. it is a white needle-like crystal, soluble in ethanol, ether and other organic solvents and acids, slightly soluble in water, easy to oxidize and change color in air, with a melting point of 59-63 ℃ and a boiling point of 242 ℃. |
The method for preparing | to synthesize 2,4-dichloroaniline includes the following steps, the following concentrations are all mass concentrations: 1) The methanol or ethanol solution with a concentration of 25-35% p-chloronitrobenzene and an ammonium chloride aqueous solution with a concentration of 5-10% are added to the reactor, and the weight ratio of p-chloronitrobenzene to ammonium chloride is 10:1, heating and stirring under nitrogen protection, adding reducing agent when the temperature reaches 75-80 ℃, the weight ratio of p-chloronitrobenzene to reducing agent is 1:1~3, controlling the adding speed of reducing agent to maintain the reaction temperature at 75-80 ℃, after the reducing agent is added, the reaction liquid returns to colorless and transparent; 2) Stir and cool under nitrogen protection, slowly add concentrated hydrochloric acid when the temperature is lower than 60 ℃, and keep the reaction temperature at 55-60 ℃ during the addition of concentrated hydrochloric acid, the weight ratio of p-chloronitrobenzene to concentrated hydrochloric acid is 1:15-20, and the reaction at 60 ℃ for 1-3 hours after the addition of concentrated hydrochloric acid; 3) The above reaction solution is cooled to room temperature, the filter residue is filtered and discarded, the pH value of the filtrate is adjusted in an ice bath until the solid is precipitated, and the obtained solid is recrystallized in an alcohol aqueous solution with a concentration of 40-60% to obtain 2,4-Dichloroaniline white needle crystal. The above-mentioned alcohol aqueous solution is an aqueous solution of ethanol or methanol. |
use | as a dye intermediate. Used as a synthetic raw material for anti-infective drug ciprofloxacin, pesticide fungicide amidazole, herbicide (PUMA) and dye |
production method | is obtained by chlorination and hydrolysis of acetanilide. |
