Nature:
-Appearance: D4 is a colorless and transparent liquid.
-Boiling point: About 210 degrees Celsius.
-Density: About 1.04g/cm3.
-Solubility: D4 can be dissolved in a variety of organic solvents, such as ethanol, chloroform and dimethyl benzene.
Use:
- D4 is widely used in cosmetics and personal care products as a solvent, wetting agent and plasticizer.

Method:
-Normally, D4 is prepared by direct synthesis or cyclosilicone method.
-Direct synthesis method: D4 is produced by reacting silanol and cyclosilicone.
-Cyclic silicone method: through the reaction of conjugated alkyl silanol and cyclotetrasiloxane, and then through the condensation of cyclic silicon.
Safety Information:
- D4 is considered to be not significantly toxic to humans and the environment under normal conditions of use.
