Use | estrone is initially used to treat menopausal symptoms, primary amenorrhea, and hormonal deficiencies. It was administered in the 1950s by oil injection or orally, and can also be replaced by other estrogens. The effect of estrone by oral administration is not very strong, because the formation of estriol after absorption in the liver through the first pass effect, and then by glucuronidation or sulfation to form inactivated ether is excreted. Estrone-D2 is a deuterated compound of estrone. |
