preparation method | 1) adding 3.0mol of m-methoxytoluene, 0.063mol of sodium, 0.042mol of potassium and 0.009mol of naphthalene as accelerators to a 500ml capacity flask with an electromagnetic stirrer. After heating the flask at a temperature of 110°C to disperse the catalyst during stirring, 1,3-butadiene was added at a flow rate of 0.3mol/hour for 6 hours to promote the addition reaction. After the reaction is complete, water is added to deactivate and separate the catalyst. The reaction mixture thus obtained was analyzed by gas chromatography. The results show that the yield of 5-(3-methoxyphenyl)-2-pentane is 79% relative to the consumed m-methoxytoluene. |
