use | this product is an intermediate of carbamate grass killing agent isoprocarb. |
production method | is obtained by oxidation and decomposition from m-dicumyl benzene. m-dicumyl can be derived from the by-products of the cumene method for the synthesis of aviation oil, and can also be derived from the by-products of the cumene method for the synthesis of phenol and acetone. In the first step, diisopropylbenzene is oxidized in liquid phase with air under the action of initiator, the reaction temperature is 120 ℃, and the reaction time is 1.0-1.4h. Then the oxidation solution is enriched, and the obtained m-diisopropylbenzene monohydroperoxide is decomposed into m-isopropylphenol and acetone under sulfuric acid catalysis; finally, the finished product is separated and acetone is produced in parallel. |
