purpose | used as analytical reagent, also used in organic synthesis |
production method | is obtained by diazotization and substitution of M-aminobenzoic acid. M-aminobenzoic acid and sulfuric acid were added to the reactor and diazotized with sodium nitrite solution at 0-10 °c. After the diazotization solution was filtered, potassium iodide was added with stirring. After addition, boiling for 12min, until no bubbles, cooling, filtering, washing with thiosulfuric acid solution, and recrystallization with water to obtain the finished product. |
