4-Iododibenzo-[B, d]furan is an organic compound with the chemical formula C12H7IO and a molecular weight of 342.09g/mol. It is a light yellow to yellow solid.

There are two main methods for preparing 4-Iododibenzo-[B, d]furan:

2. Iodination method: benzofuran and iodine are reacted under alkaline conditions to generate the target product 4-Iododibenzo-[B, d]furan.
