biological activity | NSC16168 is a ERCC1-XPF specific inhibitor with an IC50 value of 0.42 μm. NSC16168 can inhibit DNA repair and enhance the efficacy of CDDP in cancer. |
Target | IC50: 0.42 μm (ERCC1-XPF). |
Cell Line:
| H460 cells. |
Concentration:
| 0-50 μM. |
Incubation Time:
| 2 h. |
Result:
| Potentiated cisplatin efficacy in cancer cells. The tumor growth was minimally affected by compound and the mice displayed no signs of distress or toxic side effects. The combination treatment with 16168 and cisplatin inhibited H460 tumor growth, which was maintained for the duration of the compound injections. |
Animal Model:
| 2.5×10 6 H460 cells were injected s.c. in the right flank of each mouse. |
Dosage:
| 20 mg/kg. |
Administration:
| IP, twice daily for 10 days. |
